What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Members’ information
If you are a member of CBEN, or you have previously signed up to receive information about CBEN events, we will occasionally make use of your information (name, email) to send you information. This includes information about the annual conference as well as other CBEN-related events. Group emails will be sent in BCC format.
The lists of members and subscribers are securely archived with the secretary of CBEN. Members and subscribers can receive insight into the personal information stored about them by contacting the secretary of CBEN, and may request changes to or deletion of their data.
Information about members will be deleted upon ending your membership. Members do not have access to personal information of other members. Information about members and subscribers shall not be sold to or otherwise shared with third parties.
Email subscription
If you have signed up for email updates about posts on the CBEN website, we securely store your personal data (name, email). Your data will not be used to send you any other information beyond what you have signed up for.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
